Tipping My hat to You

Got to admit I was a huge fan of My Little Pony as a little girl. When I heard that it had been given a make-over I wasn't sure at first. I then watched the new cartoon show, 'Friendship is Magic' and absolutely loved it. When I heard there was a Pony group at Ayacon I jumped at the chance to do one of my favourite ponies, Applejack. This is a human version of her.

As I was working on several commissions at the time most of this costume was put together from existing clothes. My brother made the belt for me from Sintra.

I was reluctant to post photos from this costume as for some unknown reason I bloated really badly at Ayacon. I have since found out it was a wheat allergy. I decided that I did love the photos so I'm posting them anyway.

This was a really comfortable costume and I loved wearing it. Sadly I missed the actual group shoot as I was judging the costume masquerade.

I hope to wear this again as I had great fun with the rest of the Apple Clan. Might get a new hat for her that works better as the one I'm wearing is my brother's.
