The Loyal Death Eater by Sephirayne The Loyal Death Eater by Sephirayne
Lucius Malfoy - Death Eater Robes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (film version as worn by actor Jason Isaacs).

"I assure you, my Lord, I have never renounced the old ways. The face I have been obliged to present since your... absence... That is my true mask."

I originally made this costume back in 2007. I haven't managed to get any decent photos of it until now. Although I did make the mask and pointy hood that goes with it neither survived my recent flat move so sadly they don't feature. As Lucius doesn't wear them for long in the film I didn't mind them not being featured.

The robe is one I made the pattern myself. It is made from cotton suiting with dress velvet shoulder collar and sleeve cuffs. The robe is fully lined. I hand painted on all the snakes onto the buttons.

The snake cane is the same prop I made for my Chamber of secrets costume. The medallion was recently updated for this shoot as it also got damaged in the flat move. The shoes, trousers, gloves and under-top are all shop bought.

The photo-shoot took place at Buile Hall Park near where I live in Manchester. The photos were taken by my brother :iconpc-ichabodcrane:.

Lucius Malfoy and Harry Potter are owned by J K Rowling and Warner Bros.

Thank you. Yes I did. I made it a while ago when the official replica wasn't available.
